How long will it take for immigration to process your type of case?  You must know the form number that you filed and the office where it was filed.  for processing times.

If you have received a receipt from USCIS for the application filed and want to know the status of your case, you must have your receipt number which is in the upper left corner of the receipt and .

If you have moved, change your address online with USCIS Note:  It is not possible to change your address with ICE, CBP, Immigration Court or the Board of Immigration Appeals online.

If you have an approved visa petition that was filed on a certain date (your priority date), the chart below shows which priority dates USCIS and the Consulates are issuing immigrant visas/green cards for.  Your priority date has to fall on or before the listed dates.  For Diversity Visa Adjustment of Status applicants, the chart below shows you what number/rank can apply for adjustment.  Your number/rank must fall at or below the number listed.
